Troy Polamalu voted to the Pro Bowl

Three Steelers, including strong safety Troy Polamalu and outside linebacker James Harrison, have been voted to the AFC Pro Bowl team.

Joining them on the all-star team that was unveiled on the NFL Network this evening is rookie center Maurkice Pouncey.

Polamalu and Harrison were selected as starters in a vote taken of fans as well as NFL coaches and players. Pouncey, the Steelers’ first-round pick of the 2010 NFL draft, made the team as a reserve to New York Jets center Nick Mangold.

Polamalu has been selected to the Pro Bowl six consecutive times. Harrison has made the team every season since becoming a starter for the Steelers in 2007.

The Pro Bowl will be played Jan. 30 in Hawaii. The Steelers, of course, hope none of their players take part in it since that means they will be playing in the Super Bowl the following week. Credit: Scott Brown
