I am probably the biggest Troy Polamalu fan there is. I have been a huge fan since the summer between his first and second seasons with the Steelers. Since then, I have read and watched countless interviews with him and have realized that not only is he so great and inspirational, but also humble. Regarding the question where he is asked if he has any baseball ability and he says "No, I don't have any"..wow. That's unbelievable because in high school he was a first team all-state baseball player and batted .550 in his senior year. Many believed he could be a major leaguer. I just felt that people should know that because it's amazing that somebody of his caliber that plays professional football could also be playing another professional sport. Troy, you're my hero..keep doing what you're doing!

After reading your interview I only have one observation and question to ask. You seemed to play very differently after your injury; you never got back to the high quality of "guts" football you played prior to your injuries. Do you think you can get past the fear of another injury or recolection of pain? Your pure "guts" football approach was totally awesome and please do not allow your injury to alter your tremendous instinct of the game. Medicine can cure the injury, but it takes a much more spiritual healing to mend the altered confidence level.

And, please let me congradulate you boys on a tremendous season. Against all odds THE STEELERS WON THE CONFERENCE!!! I know we Steeler Fans can be quite demanding and you guys gave us an awesome season to remember, I do recall at the onset of the season, given Bens suspension, that they were not even giving you chances of a 500 season. Well, you showed the "doubting thomas" of reporters what the GREAT Pittsburgh Steelers are made of and we fans salute you all for the entire conbined effort of one of the, if not THE, greatest teams ever to play the game. Thanks!

If you want to hear a really cool story ask Terry Bradshaw sometime about his "iddy biddy" biggest fan he met in Canton OH when Mike Webster was inducted into the Hall Of Fame. I kept the articles and paper I wrote to Terry and if you guys ever need a morale booster call me and I will give you the other side of the story through the eyes of this true Steeler Fan.

May God continue to bless and keep you guys safe and happy. This fan is behind you guys in the contract deals and if you do not come to an agreement and you need a job you can always contact FOX and start a "Home Team" with Troy Pallamollo show that is the "sports" show that the name indicates it would be. I have the letter I wrote to Terry regarding that one too. There is too much money to be made in sports to just be conent to sit back and allow the destiny of the game we all love the most to be held solely in the hands of the few owners with deep pockets. They will forever change the attitude of a game that is best played with "guts". No guts, no glory in the NFL And, for all who boubt that statement just follow the 2010 season of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Without one single doubt, Troy is head and shoulders (no pun!!) above every other NFL player. I have NEVER heard or seen any other football athlete with his generosity, his faithfulness to God and his family, his outstanding athletic ability, or his gentle and low-key, self-less personality. In my opinion, he is the epitome of a gentleman and a leader. All the rest of the NFL should take lessons from Troy on "how to do it " God bless him!
