Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wasn’t the only Steeler veteran to make some noise in November.
Safety Troy Polamalu won’t join Roethlisberger as one of the monthly honorees in the AFC for November, but he has been named the conference’s defensive player of the week. It’s the seventh time Polamalu has been so honored, the most of any Steeler defender since the award was created in 1984.
Polamalu had four tackles, two forced fumbles, a sack and a fumble recovery in last Sunday’s victory over the Browns.
